The Hokkaido University Festival has arrived once again this year. Representing SmileLab, Ms. Annabelle Jin (Visiting Research Fellow) and Ms. Yuika Oose (Master’s Student, 1st Year) organized a menstrual health pop-up exhibit sponsored by the Taiwan NGO With Red. Visitors had the opportunity to handle various menstrual products while learning from informative panel displays and explanations. The exhibition incorporated many creative and interactive elements, such as writing letters about period experiences and putting together a uterus puzzle, making it a fun way to learn about menstruation.

It was particularly encouraging to see many visitors—regardless of age or gender—stop by, listen attentively, and actively engage with the exhibits. Their interest and participation highlighted the growing public awareness of menstrual health education.
The exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to promote understanding, encourage open discussion, and raise awareness about menstruation among the Sapporo community.
