Taro Yamauchi Ph.D.
He graduated from School of International Health, Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo in 1998. Since 2007 he has worked at Faculty of Health Sciences, Hokkaido University, and has been in current position as a professor since 2013. He has also worked at Research Institute for Humanity and Nature (RIHN) as a professor and the project leader of ‘Sanitation Value Chain’ between 2015 and 2021. After finishing a cross-appointment between RIHN and HU, he became the Director at Hokkaido University Center for Environmental and Health Sciences in April 2022.
Appointed as Advisor to the President in April 2024.
